Poutine, a Special Happy Hour, and More: Things to Do This Weekend (June 30-July 1)
Happy Friday! We can’t believe that it’s already the end of June but we’re excited about all of the summer events happening in the next couple of months. Although there are triple digit temperatures looming in the weather forecast for the weekend, we still have some fun recommendations for you.
We must admit that this is great weather for a festive BBQ and some swimming, especially with the 4th of July just around the corner, so we hope you get to spend some time outdoors this weekend!
Here are our weekend recommendations:
Trusty’s Extended Happy Hour for Womply Users
Join the Womply crew tonight at Trusty’s for an Extended Happy Hour just for our wonderful users! Simply show us the home screen of your Womply account (via our mobile app) and receive happy hour prices from 8-10pm. If you don’t have a smart phone, our team will have a couple of iPads you can use to sign in as well. Don’t forget to use your linked credit card to save even more at this event. We hope to see you tonight!
All-You-Can-Eat Poutine at Rhino Bar
Not only will the event have all-you-can-eat poutine, but there will also be an open bar. For those who are unfamiliar with poutine, you are missing out. Poutine is a traditional Canadian dish where french fries are smothered in gravy and cheese. On top of the poutine and open bar, there will also be great music. The event will take place at Rhino Bar, and it costs $25. For more information, click here.
Check out the Washington Post’s Farmers Market Roundup
Fresh summer produce will be gone before we know it, so let’s make it a point to hit up the spectacular farmers market in the area. Perfectly ripe fruit, crisp vegetables, and other local produce are calling your name. The Washington Post put together a great farmers market roundup map that is a great start to finding all of the farmers markets near you.
We hope everyone has a great weekend!
